AT&T Alascom Sponsors Fireworks at the Alaska State Fair
Celebration is a 70-year Alaska tradition.

ANCHORAGE, AK (August 28, 2006) - AT&T Alascom invites Alaskans to come out and celebrate the 2006 Alaska State Fair on Friday, September 1. Kicking off the holiday weekend with a bang, AT&T Alascom will sponsor the fireworks that begin at 10 p.m.

"The Alaska State Fair is an integral part of Alaska's past and present," said AT&T Alascom president Mike Felix. "The fair has been bringing people together to celebrate Alaska for 70 years and we are proud to be a part of that tradition."

AT&T Alascom will host a booth at the fair on Friday, September 1, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. where fairgoers can visit and have their pictures taken with Olympic Bronze medalist Rosey Fletcher and Myles the Goose.
