Local Service Plans and Easy Calling Conveniences

AT&T Alascom offers you optional, local calling plans and features that customize our phone service to make it work harder for you — whether you want to dial a number with the press of a button or have a conversation with two friends at the same time.

Basic Service

Basic residential service includes the following features: Dial tone, Touch Tone, Repair service: 907-561-9611

  • One residential listing in the telephone directory. Other types of directory listing services are available upon request.
  • Additional phone lines are available in your home at a discounted rate and include the same Basic Service features.

Restricted Service

Now you can prevent your phone from being used to make or receive certain types of calls. Call Blocking puts you in control even when you're not home.

  • Call Blocking for 900 and 976 calls, collect calls, and calls billed to a third party is available upon request.

Data Line Package

Data Line Package gives you secure and reliable data lines, allowing uninterrupted data transmission. Package includes:

  • Basic Service
  • 900 restrictions
  • No directory listing
  • No double connect
  • No line insulation test
  • Cutoff on disconnect

CALLING CONVENIENCES

Speed Calling
Now you can quickly place a call just by dialing a 2-digit code. Speed Dialing can store up to 30 different local or long distance phone numbers.

Intercom
Call other extensions in your home with the Intercom service. All lines are programmed to place a signal alerting other extensions to pick up.

Three-Way Calling
Now you can have a conversation with two people simultaneously, any time you want, and without buying any additional teleconferencing equipment.

Continuous Redial
Continuous Redial will continue to try a number for you if the number is busy or if there is no answer the first time you dial it — such as when you’re trying to reach a box office the first day tickets go on sale. Now your world doesn’t have to stop while you’re waiting to get through!

Distinctive Ring
Take the guesswork out of who should answer the phone when it rings. With Distinctive Ring, you can select up to three different “rings” for incoming calls. A new telephone number (that rings into your main number) is assigned for each ring type you choose.
