AT&T Giving in Alaska

Our Community Relations programs support organizations and issues important to the people and communities of Alaska.

Areas of support include:

  • Arts
  • Community
  • Education
  • Healthcare

Corporate Sponsorships

AT&T considers all requests for sponsorships and contributions that benefit the social fabric of the community; enhance business relationships; and aid in expanding future corporate sales and customer service opportunities within Alaska. Due to limited budgetary requirements and the volume of requests received by AT&T , emphasis for consideration is placed on activities which provide the broadest range of support and benefit the community as a whole. Written requests must be received at least three months prior to your event.

Exceptions

Consideration will be given to all requests for support with the following exceptions:

  • Organizations which receive funding through state or municipal entities
  • Requests for assistance with travel expenses, including transportation, accommodations, and expenses while traveling
  • Benefits for a specific individual
  • Funding for individual sports teams, athletic competition, uniforms, equipment, etc.
  • Religious organizations which are denominational or sectarian in purpose
  • Requests from individual schools (versus those requests which benefit the educational system as a whole)

Application Information

All requests must be written and should include the following information:

  • Organization name, contact name, address, phone number, fax
  • The purpose of the organization, including the structure, purpose, major programs, and other sources of funding
  • Beginning and ending dates of the event, advertising, or seasonal program the donation will be applied toward
  • Exactly what type of assistance you are requesting:
    1. Financial or in-kind donations
    2. The amount in dollars being requested and exactly how the funds will be used
    3. The type of donation being requested, an example of the item needed, quantity, and approximate value of the donated items being requested
  • Whether AT&T has funded your organization in the past, when the request was granted, and how the donation was used
  • Other entities that have committed to sponsoring your organization or event
  • Whether AT&T will receive any recognition for funding your program (Example: program advertising, display ad, signage displaying corporate logo, public verbal recognition at your event)
